Labor of love

Taylor's Sister Natalie taught me to crochet back in December and let me tell you, making this blanket was NO WALK IN THE PARK!! I had to start over twice and at one point I was almost done with it when I realized that I had missed stitches in the beginning and the blanket was steadily getting shorter in width. Well, thanks to Taylor's friend Jed, I learned how to hold the yarn correctly to better control my tension and after that I cruised trough it and finally finished!! Thanks Nat and Jed! SO WITHOUT FURTHER ADO...

Anson's Blessing Blanket

After taking 2 months to finish Anson's blessing blanket, I had the double crochet DOWN! So I decided to make him a brown and green blanket for everyday and not to brag or anything, but I FINISHED IT IN A WEEK AND A HALF!! That was with just working on it here and there and making a scarf for my Sister in between, I think I could have done it in a couple days if I just crocheted all day long! What can I say? I'M PROUD!

Great job! That is something I've never learned to do. I bet it's so rewarding to make something for that sweet baby of yours. Can't wait!
